By Peter Lane & Partners
Since our doors opened in 1990, we at Peter Lane & Partners have experienced many different housing markets, from the depression of the early 90’s to a national housing boom in 2007 and everything in between.
However, bearing in mind the issues throughout the country surrounding COVID-19, we were amazed at the high number of sales generated between June and the end of November.
Although the Christmas seasonal slowdown (which is normal for this time of year) is now upon us, the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) Propertymark’s November Housing Report confirmed back-to-back record-breaking months as November 2020 becomes the busiest November on record for housing demand and sales.
As we look forward to the New Year and the race for completing a house move before the end of the stamp duty holiday on March 31st 2021 (unless the government announce an extension to the deadline), we at Peter Lane & Partners would urge those buyers and sellers wanting to benefit from the saving to contact the office as early as possible in January 2021 to discuss your housing requirements.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year.
