Peter Rabbit

The troublesome rabbit from the lovely coloured-picture books comes to the big screen this season as the irreverent Peter Rabbit, who vies for the affection of his tender-hearted neighbour against his infamous nemesis, Mr McGregor. The partially-animated feature is a fun and silly take on the classic tale and will get you hopping into your Easter spirit.

Prince of Egypt

This movie follows Moses’ life and depicts the first Passover, a holiday that regularly overlaps with Easter. Moses’ deliverance of the Israelites out of slavery is oft considered a biblical foreshadowing that parallels Jesus’ death and resurrection, making this movie a great pick for Easter weekend.

Rise of the Guardians

Generation after generation, immortal Guardians like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy protect the world’s children from darkness and despair. However, an evil boogeyman named Pitch Black schemes to overthrow the Guardians by obliterating children’s belief in them. It falls to a winter sprite named Jack Frost to thwart Pitch’s plans and save the Guardians from destruction.
