Of all the weeks of 2015 so far, this has been one of the biggest highlights for Local Buzz Marketing. Not only did we reach the final of The Hunts Post, Huntingdonshire Business Awards for the category of Online Business of the Year (the same category we won the previous year with our client Phebys) but something else happened, something that has been repeatedly happening throughout the year, small victories. Three more big local businesses in Cambridgeshire chose Buzz as their marketing partners, this week. Continually winning new business this year has allowed us to grow our team and our services.
A new Photographer at Buzz as our team grows
We are adding to our team in three key areas which will not only strengthen Buzz but it also allows us to grow our services. Experienced Photographer Tim George will be joining us. Tim brings with him many years of experience. We’ve already worked with Tim several times during 2015 on projects with our clients. We are continually asked about photography, not just linking to our web design services but also for corporate team photos. If you or your business are in need of professional photography services, please do ask us for more information.
Our first Digital Marketing Apprentice
We will also be adding our first Digital Marketing Apprentice here at Local Buzz Marketing, something that will surely please Boris Johnson! We think this is a really important step, we have a lot to offer in terms of experience and variety of work. Our new apprentice will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Our very own Buzz Videographer
The amount of videography we have carried out for Cambridgeshire businesses in 2015 has prompted us to add a videographer to our team. We’ve written and directed two advertisements and we are continually taking more bookings for our videography services. Two more advertisements have been booked and we have another exciting project in the pipeline, potentially one of the biggest videography challenges we have faced yet.
Our full new team will be released before the end of the year.
The Bright Story – Written and directed by Buzz
From the moment we made this video for Bright we knew we were going to be approached for more local videography work.
Are we London bound in 2016?
We have long been in talks about launching Local Buzz Marketing, London. We edge ever closer to this and growth outside of Cambridgeshire is inevitable for us in 2016. The franchise of Local Buzz Marketing will begin to develop in the next 12 months as we look to move into towns throughout the UK. The plan has always been to expand on our success and a big year full of small victories is driving this momentum forwards.
The winners of the awards were announced on Friday 6th November at a packed Burgess Hall in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The night belonged to one very special company, Buffaload Logistics. The ‘More Load – Less Cost Logistics Experts’ cleaned up with an impressive four awards! Well done to our client Benchmark Services on reaching the finals and congratulations to all the other winners and finalists. A special shout out to our neighbours, Cambridge Digital Academy who picked up Online Business of the Year.
